Professional Summary

I'm a technology leader who builds things that work and fixes things that don't.

My background covers data infrastructure, observability, platform engineering, ITSM and capacity management, mostly in complex, regulated environments where reliability genuinely matters.

I've built functions from scratch, brought fragmented teams and tools together, and created platforms that engineering and business teams rely on when it matters most. I care about outcomes over activity and I translate infrastructure complexity into something a business can actually act on.

I stay hands-on because it makes me a better leader.

I run a self-hosted lab at home, build tools when the ones I need don't exist, and generally enjoy finding out why something isn't working and fixing it.

What drives me is building infrastructure and teams that become genuinely essential, moving organisations away from reactive firefighting towards operations that are predictable, trusted, and aligned to what the business needs.
